Project Management Specialist
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for a position where you can leverage your procurement and security management expertise to make a direct impact on a government training contract? With complex, high-dollar procurements and sensitive security needs, it takes a project management specialist who can ensure success through diligent supplier management, risk mitigation, and strict security controls.
On our team, you’ll support a government training contract, overseeing procurement and supplier management activities. You’ll manage the acquisition of complex materials and services, negotiate terms and conditions, and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Additionally, you’ll administer U.S. government security policies and oversee the operations of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). With your experience in procurement, supplier performance, and security management, you’ll ensure that all contract and security requirements are met while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

You Have:
- 10+ years of experience with procurement in defense contracting
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial Security in support of a government program
- 5+ years of experience utilizing customer security databases
- Experience evaluating and negotiating terms and conditions to identify and mitigate risks based on purchase order award type, commodity, and anticipated award value
- Experience evaluating statements of work or bills of materials for completeness
- Knowledge of clearance processing, document control, and physical security, including closed areas and SCIFs
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience as a systems administrator in the customer environment
- Experience successfully managing facility access control for a contractor facility
- Master’s degree
- PMP or similar Project Management Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
