Requirements
  • Working toward or having completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in the Australian Capital Territory in accordance with the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority.
  • Experience leading teams in outside school hours care, childcare, education, or a similar environment.
  • Completion of National Child Safety Training before onboarding.
  • A current and valid Working with Children Check.
  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between services.
  • Availability to work split shifts Monday to Friday.
  • Australian work rights.
  • The ability to create safe, inclusive, and engaging environments for children.
Responsibilities
  • Support services with daily operations and leadership coverage.
  • Lead and mentor teams of Educators.
  • Deliver engaging programs including sports, science, technology, engineering and mathematics, creative arts, cooking, and wellbeing activities.
  • Manage compliance, safety, and operational standards.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, schools, and team members.
  • Support services to achieve strong quality and assessment outcomes.
  • Assist with roster management, administration, and program planning.
