Requirements
  • A BA/BS in Nursing or Pharmacy, a PharmD, or an MS in Social Work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in oncology, palliative care, medical management, care management, value-based care, or quality improvement.
  • A current, valid, active unrestricted license as an RN, NP, PA, RPh, MSW, or LCSW in the applicable United States state or territory.
  • OCN/NP professional competency for URAC-accredited areas.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the clinical subject-matter expert for operational team members and Carelon’s Oncology suite of solutions and Total Cost of Care oncology model.
  • Mentor and support fellow Oncology Practice Enablement Clinicians through coaching, best-practice sharing, and issue-escalation support.
  • Serve as the primary clinical point of contact for oncology practices and build partnerships to support Value Based Network and Total Cost Of Care program success and adoption of Carelon’s Oncology solutions.
  • Assess practice workflows and facilitate recurring meetings to drive progress on quality measures and cost-of-care performance.
  • Translate performance insights into practical, practice-ready actions.
  • Review and interpret performance reporting and analytics, including the Carelon Provider Dashboard.
  • Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities, and prepare and present quarterly Joint Operations Committee updates.
  • Participate in identifying new solutions.
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from clinicians and Oncology Practice Enablement Clinicians to identify practice trends, improve existing solutions, and inform new solution design.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives.
  • Support leadership as a subject-matter expert on strategic initiatives based on clinical expertise.
  • Schedule and host educational sessions for the Provider Enablement team.
  • Seek continuing education opportunities and oncology subspecialty resources to build internal capability.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, solutions, and initiatives.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support management in tracking initiatives, solutions, and project-based work.
  • Develop executive-ready analyses and provider-facing materials using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft applications.
  • Create publication-quality, brand-aligned collateral that supports efficient marketing and legal review while maintaining formatting, version control, and accuracy.
