Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in automation, mechatronics, electronics engineering, or a similar role.
  • Experience deploying automation solutions and machines in the field.
  • Ability to consider all aspects of an automation solution and apply solution-oriented thinking.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to work in an agile style and iterate quickly toward solutions.
  • Ability to work self-directed in a remote-first environment.
  • Experience interacting with customers in client-facing contexts.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a similar field.
  • English proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of total time.
Responsibilities
  • Execute and document feasibility studies.
  • Specify and manage projects for developing new solutions.
  • Own products and solutions throughout their complete life cycles, from invention through maintenance considerations, in collaboration with partners and management.
  • Manage and document processes, projects, specifications, and drawings.
  • Supervise the manufacturing build process with production partners.
  • Manage installation, integration, and maintenance throughout the machine life cycle.
  • Analyze problems and provide support and troubleshooting through remote diagnostics and on-site work in Northern Europe.
