VEIR focuses on enhancing the electric transmission industry through its superconducting power lines. These power lines utilize a unique cooling method involving distributed, evaporative liquid nitrogen, which allows them to transmit 5 to 10 times more power than traditional lines at the same voltage. This technology not only increases the capacity of existing transmission corridors but also reduces the space needed for new infrastructure. VEIR primarily targets utility companies and energy providers seeking to upgrade their systems to meet rising electricity demands while promoting decarbonization and grid resilience. Unlike competitors, VEIR's product minimizes energy loss and maximizes power transmission without requiring extensive new infrastructure, offering significant cost savings and supporting global carbon reduction efforts. The company's goal is to transform electric transmission by providing high-capacity, low-loss solutions that align with the clean energy movement.
