Now, Google has introduced an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can help scientists formulate new hypotheses, grounded in relevant research literature. Called “AI co-scientist,” the AI system uses AI agents that generate an idea, debate the feasibility of the idea among themselves in a “tournament,” and refine the suggested hypotheses before presenting it to the human scientist, according to a paper from Google, Stanford and other researchers
President Donald Trump said he plans to negotiate TikTok’s future with China’s government. Speaking with reporters Wednesday (Feb. 20) on Air Force One, Trump was asked if there had been any developments on the future of the popular video-sharing platform, Reuters reported Wednesday. “No, there’s a lot of people interested in TikTok, and I think we have a chance of doing something good,” Trump said. “And we’ll be speaking to China about that also because they’re a party to it, obviously. But it would be great to keep TikTok alive, sell it to somebody that’s going to do a great job with it.”
Google removed its artificial intelligence (AI) assistant Gemini from the Google app for iOS devices, telling customers they can access the AI assistant by downloading the Gemini app from the App Store. The company delivered the news to customers in an email, TechCrunch reported Wednesday (Feb. 19). Customers who try to access Gemini through the Google app will see a message saying, “Gemini now has its own app,” together with links to the App Store, according to the report
