  • BS and 10+ years of industry experience; MS with 8+ years of industry experience or PhD and 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of layout design engineering
  • Required knowledge of basic Si process and device
  • Proficient with industry design software and tools Calibre DRC, LVS etc.
Responsibilities
  • Design memory unit cell array and core layout
  • Build parametric cells for layout to improve design efficiency and standardization
  • Collaborate with process integration and design engineer for core design architecture and technology co-optimization
  • Develop test element group layout for electrical test structure
  • Customize and improve DRCs for next technology development
  • Support tape out process from database transfer and integration
  • Documentation of design details
  • Technical interactions with internal and external customers
