  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with co-workers and key stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
  • Professionalism in interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel is required
  • 1 year certificate EEG course at Career College or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities
  • Performs EEG's on newborn, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients in all area of hospitals including Daytona Beach, Port Orange and Deltona.
  • Supervise and train assigned personnel.
  • Maintain equipment, patient records and supplies.
  • Performs EEG’s evoke potentials and somatosensories for diagnostic use by physicians.
  • Maintains equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain proper patient records on all procedures including charges and logs. Types and files reports.
  • Consults with and assists physicians in interpretation of tests.
  • Accept on-call responsibility
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification as an Electrocardiology Tech or Cardiovascular Tech preferred
