About the role

We are seeking an experienced data warehousing manager to architect and deploy our enterprise data warehouse, data modeling and metrics platform. This person will be a player coach in the beginning as they build out their team which currently consists of two engineers. 

What you'll do

• Architect, implement and improve the enterprise data warehouse, data modeling and metrics platform. 
• Manage team of data warehouse engineers who will develop data models for functional areas across the business. 
• Establish best practices for our data governance processes. 
• Work closely with edge data engineering team to establish pipeline monitoring and alerting platform and processes. 

Qualifications

• 5+ years architecting and managing enterprise cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), data modeling and metrics platforms (DBT, LookML)
• 3+ years managing data warehouse engineers
• Expert knowledge of SQL, Extract Load Transform (EL T/ETL) pipelines and data modeling (Kimball methodology, star-schema design) 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume scale edge data ingestion. 
   

$180,000 - $220,000/annually

The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more. Equity in Forterra is included in most of our full-time, high-demand roles and is therefore considered part of Forterra’s overall compensation package.
