Requirements
  • Proven success in a senior sales leadership role with experience in influencer marketing. Experience in affiliate marketing or content-driven e-commerce is a plus.
  • A strong existing book of business with a proven ability to close high-value deals and drive revenue growth. Existing contacts within major media agencies, including WPP, Omnicom Group, Publicis Groupe, and/or IPG.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership role, with at least 3 years of experience hiring, training, and managing a sales team.
  • Knowledge of influencer and affiliate networks and SaaS platforms (Impact, Commission Junction, Partnerize, Awin, Rakuten, Amazon Influencer, LTK, etc.)
  • Exceptional ability to build relationships and trust with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Highly meticulous, creative, and determined, passionate about driving results and exceeding targets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a talent for crafting persuasive sales materials.
  • Deep understanding of the influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, and e-commerce landscapes.
  • Ability to develop and implement complex sales strategies, pipelines, and pricing models.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and align sales objectives with broader company goals.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales tracking tools (e.g.,HubSpot).
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a personal portfolio of high-value brand partners, ensuring growth through deal-closing, upselling, and strategic retention efforts.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, and content publisher spaces.
  • Actively pursue new revenue lines, working cross-functionally to integrate new offerings into our go-to-market strategy.
  • Identify and develop new business avenues to diversify BrandCycle’s revenue streams, particularly in emerging influencer marketing trends.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of sales professionals focused on flat fee opportunities in the influencer space and affiliate brand partnership opportunities.
  • Build and oversee a comprehensive sales pipeline for each team member, guiding best practices, strategies for overcoming obstacles, and targeted coaching for closing deals.
  • Set and monitor clear sales goals for the team to ensure alignment with company-wide revenue and profit targets.
  • Oversee the development and refinement of sales scripts, pricing models, and sales presentations/decks to drive alignment and success across the team.
  • Implement and manage efficient sales processes, tools, and systems to track performance and ensure accountability.
  • Report weekly on progress against revenue targets, providing insights and recommendations to the General Manager and leadership team.
  • Identify trends and emerging opportunities within the influencer marketing, content, and affiliate e-commerce sectors to keep BrandCycle at the forefront of the industry.
  • Work with the General Manager and CEO to develop growth strategy, including strategic architecture of various revenue channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager to create and execute strategic sales initiatives to achieve multimillion-dollar revenue targets.
  • Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals for the brand partnerships team, ensuring goals are measurable and actionable.
  • Collaborate with the product, operations, and influencer teams to ensure successful brand partnerships and influencers are supported at every stage of their journey.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align on strategic objectives and ensure advertiser expectations are met or exceeded.
