Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • CMRP or CPE certification is required
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and/or repair electrical or mechanical failures
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of technical employees and or operations staff
  • Ability to perform basic algebraic functions in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in PC, written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary change agent for company-wide maintenance reliability initiatives by driving the required cultural transformation and the adoption of successful continuous improvement practices
  • Develop and implement maintenance reliability strategies to increase machine OEE and achieve optimal performance
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to validate maintenance plans, schedules, instructions, spare parts specifications, etc., applying industry best practices
  • Execute the implementation of TPM and RCM methodologies, and the creation of an effective supporting framework
  • Act as a proactive project leader and work with production, engineering and maintenance
  • Analyze and recommend engineered solutions to identified failures
  • Utilize NDT and data analysis to leverage opportunities at the insipient stages of failure
  • Support Preventive Maintenance Optimization
  • Maintain the continuous development of peer competencies in Non-Destructive Testing, Analysis, Trouble Shooting, Root Cause Identification and Development of Corrective Actions
  • Train leadership in the effective use of maintenance reliability tools and methodologies
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiative; continually improve processes; quantitatively monitor processes
  • Complete required quality core classes and use skills and techniques presented
  • Use The Rules of Conduct in work environment
  • Adhere to corporate safety procedures
