Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-service-related job is required.
  • A valid driver's license without major violations is required.
  • The candidate must be flexible to work after hours and weekends as needed.
  • The candidate must be a certified Virginia unarmed security officer/courier (DCJS) or obtain the certification within 60 days of the start or transfer date.
  • The candidate must demonstrate customer service, problem-solving, time management, communication, active listening, organizational, multitasking, prioritization, and attention-to-detail abilities.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish strong working relationships in a team setting.
  • The candidate must be able to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and reach.
  • The candidate must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The candidate must be able to perform continuous repetitive motions and work indoors and outdoors under variable temperature and noise conditions, including exposure to fumes, hazards, dust, mites, chemicals, and biohazards.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the front desk at the office building lobby on a daily basis.
  • Control access for guests, tenants, and vendors.
  • Provide elevator and door assistance to guests.
  • Provide customer service and assistance to clients, customers, and visitors.
  • Complete daily activity, access-control, and incident reports.
  • Observe and report safety concerns.
  • Patrol common areas.
  • Open, manage, and close the facility's day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure facility safety and security for guests and employees by reviewing maintenance checklists and conducting periodic safety audits as directed by the company's Safety Manual.
  • Resolve customer concerns escalated by front-line associates.
  • Complete incident forms and conduct incident investigations as directed by the Senior Operations Manager or Corporate Office.
  • Use required software applications to record and track work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
