Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 6+ years of experience in software or firmware development in an embedded systems environment with C/C++
  • Experience in embedded firmware development in a real-time operating system (RTOS)
  • Knowledge of storage industry, enterprise storage, and storage interface protocols (SATA, SAS, PCIe, NVMe)
  • Experience in software/firmware development processes, DevOps, project planning, and risk management
Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, document, and maintain product source code in C/C++
  • Analyze and develop firmware per internal and external specifications
  • Perform unit and system level testing including failure analysis and debug
  • Develop low-level firmware, system architectures, operating systems, device architectures
  • Work with project stakeholders to turn product requirements into development and validation plans
  • Participate in an Agile/Kanban development culture emphasizing product quality and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate priorities and activities with other engineering stakeholders to accomplish milestones
