Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain a comprehensive view of Visa North America's Marketing portfolio, including strategic priorities, investment allocation, business objectives, and expected outcomes.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate portfolio performance and identify opportunities to optimize investments, accelerate growth, and improve business impact.
  • Support annual and multi-year strategic planning by providing data-driven perspectives on business priorities, market opportunities, and emerging trends.
  • Develop frameworks and approaches that help leadership prioritize resources and make informed investment decisions.
  • Transform complex data from multiple sources into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for executive audiences.
  • Identify connections across Consumer, B2B, and Marketing Services initiatives, highlighting risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
  • Structure and solve ambiguous business problems by evaluating alternatives, quantifying trade-offs, and recommending clear paths forward.
  • Create executive-ready presentations, business cases, and strategic narratives to support informed decision-making.
  • Partner with North America Product and Strategy teams to align marketing investments with product roadmaps, business priorities, and market opportunities.
  • Serve as a strategic connector across Marketing, Analytics, Product, Finance, and regional teams to drive alignment and maximize portfolio effectiveness.
  • Lead special projects and strategic initiatives requiring cross-functional collaboration and executive visibility.
  • Monitor portfolio performance against strategic goals and key business outcomes.
  • Analyze trends, identify performance gaps, and recommend actions to enhance effectiveness and accelerate results.
  • Drive continuous improvement in measurement frameworks, reporting approaches, and strategic planning processes.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve planning, decision-making, operational efficiency, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Pilot new approaches, develop business cases, and help scale innovative solutions across the organization.
Desired Qualifications
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree, 4 or more years of relevant experience with an advanced degree, or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
  • 6 or more years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, analytics, portfolio management, or a related strategic discipline.
  • Experience in payments, fintech, technology, financial services, or other fast-paced, highly matrixed organizations.
  • Experience synthesizing large amounts of information into executive-level insights, strategic frameworks, and business cases.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex business problems, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Marketing experience is welcome but not required; backgrounds in strategy, planning, consulting, operations, or analytics are encouraged.
