Requirements
  • At least 10 years’ proven success in business development of engineering and project services within the Energy sector and a strong client network across Australia.
Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales growth within Australia, whilst maintaining Kent financial KPIs.
  • Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities and potential areas for growth within the Energy sector.
  • Collaborating closely with the wider team, identifying and pursuing opportunities for strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance Kent's position in the market.
  • Acting as a Brand Ambassador, working to build the Kent brand, raising brand awareness across Australia through coordinated campaigns.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in the industry, including within new and existing clients.
  • Accountable for achieving sales targets in Australia via increased market share across all of Kent service offerings.
  • Providing leadership internally on proposal development, conducting presentations, negotiating pricing, and presenting the contract to secure awards – collaborating with technical and operational teams.
  • Through reporting and analytics, providing guidance to improve overall business performance.
  • Staying informed on key clients, market sectors, competition and understanding the value Kent brings and how to promote and sell.
  • Promoting a customer-oriented focus and advocating consultative customer relationships.
  • Representing Kent at industry events, conferences and networking functions.
