The job is located at the corporate office in Irving, Texas.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Extensive computer skills, including access control software and Microsoft Office
- 1 year of multi-building security experience
- Maintain a specified level of corporate office physical security by closely monitoring associate and non-associate entry/exits, performing exterior building inspections on a regular basis, monitoring appropriate key and lock controls and conducting routine facility inspections
- Maintain control of all buildings’ entrances and secured areas via access control software
- Ensure the highest level of customer service for associates, vendors and contractors at all times
- Document and communicate to the appropriate parties any incident, injury or illness related to the corporate office buildings or premises
- Assist in emergency preparedness procedures as well as any needed building evacuations
- Adheres to and abides by company policies and procedures and sets an example for all other associates
- First Aid, CPR & AED certified (If not certified, Michaels will provide training)
- LPC / LPQ preferred
