Requirements
  • A college degree and/or at least three years of relevant professional experience in personnel or operations management, security operations, dispatch or communications center operations, workforce scheduling, law enforcement, military leadership, emergency response coordination, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or related operational leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary operational leader during evening and overnight hours.
  • Supervise, coach, and support Mobile Field Supervisors and Mobile Security Officers.
  • Provide direction to employees working independently across multiple client locations.
  • Make real-time operational decisions involving staffing, service delivery, incidents, client concerns, and emergencies.
  • Coordinate mobile patrol routes, dispatch activity, alarm responses, officer assignments, and emergency calls.
  • Monitor field activity and adjust resources when priorities or conditions change.
  • Ensure scheduled patrols, inspections, alarm responses, lock/unlock services, guard checks, and other client services are completed correctly and on time.
  • Respond to call-outs and staffing issues and coordinate appropriate coverage.
  • Maintain communication with mobile personnel throughout the shift.
  • Monitor and utilize workforce management and scheduling systems, GPS and vehicle-monitoring platforms, mobile reporting applications, security camera systems, dispatch and communication platforms, and incident and activity reporting systems.
  • Maintain accountability for company patrol vehicles assigned to the Mobile operation.
  • Monitor vehicle usage, condition, inspections, and safety compliance; coordinate maintenance and repairs.
  • Review vehicle and driver activity using company monitoring systems and address unsafe driving, vehicle concerns, and policy violations when necessary.
  • Help ensure consistent service delivery across the Massachusetts client portfolio.
  • Respond to client questions, concerns, and service issues.
  • Conduct field inspections, quality assurance checks, and operational reviews.
  • Investigate service failures and operational issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective action.
  • Escalate significant incidents appropriately while maintaining communication with branch leadership.
  • Review and maintain scheduling, payroll, employee, and operational documentation.
  • Prepare and review reports, incident documentation, and client communications.
  • Ensure information is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, client requirements, licensing requirements, and applicable regulations.

As a result, Paul Lotter is appointed in the role of chief operating officer to lead the change programme. Underpinning the realignment are Corps Security's three core divisions: Corps Security (focused on security guarding), Corps Monitoring (remote monitoring) and Corps Intel (intelligence, risk and consultancy), which now come together under one unified operating model. This will ensure customers benefit from complete, 360-degree proactive and reactive security solutions tailored to their businesses, in turn driving efficiency and innovation. In order to deliver this new approach, Lotter will lead a senior team spanning the breadth of Corps' operations. Direct reports include divisional directors, the national accounts director, the director of the national Operations Centre, the mobilisation director and the director of Corps Intel. Lotter will provide strategic and operational leadership across the business, working closely with operational teams to drive seamless co-ordination and continuous improvement. Complementing this integrated model is the Innovation and Technology Services division, led by Andrea Strong (Group director of Technology and Innovation). Significant experience Lotter has over 30 years' worth of experience in the security sector. He first joined Corps Security in 2018 as regional operations director before becoming managing director in 2019, whereupon he played a central role in implementing new business development, compliance policies and technology programmes. Prior to joining Corps Security, Lotter held senior roles at Securitas and Interserve.
