Requirements
  • An Associate's degree in Education or a Teacher Certification Program, Social Behavior, Human Behavior, or Health Care.
  • Experience developing an education curriculum with learning objectives and outcomes.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and various database and software programs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Willingness to comply with government vaccination requirements, including vaccinations for Hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza, and provide proof of a negative tuberculosis skin test.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain the government's automated data collection systems, including FAPNet, and ensure maltreatment data is entered accurately while excluding clinical data entry.
  • Provide administrative and computer support to the Maltreatment Intervention, New Parent Support Program, and Outreach components through FAPNet and other software programs, and manage computer resources.
  • Manage data with the Family Advocacy Officer to provide information regarding patient satisfaction, recidivism, and clinical outcome measures.
  • Compile statistical data and prepare minutes, agendas, notification letters, and other written communications in accordance with Family Advocacy Program standards.
  • Assist with research and evaluation by administering data-collection assessment instruments, processing and scoring them initially and during follow-up, and maintaining measurement instruments for the Outreach Program.
  • Provide supportive services to New Parent Support Program clients under the oversight of the case manager, including occasional accompaniment of Family Advocacy personnel on home visits.
  • Assist with scheduling and preparing Outreach Prevention Management Council meetings and record and finalize meeting minutes.
  • Provide prevention services, briefings, educational presentations, and activities for installation leadership, active-duty personnel, family members, the community, and base agencies.
  • In the absence of a Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist, provide orientation and annual training to Squadron Commanders and First Sergeants as directed by the Family Advocacy Officer.
  • Document contact with Family Advocacy maltreatment clients and New Parent Support Program clients in the appropriate records within 72 hours and support provider review when required.
