  • U.S. Citizen as a requirement for the position.
  • Must be able to pass a federal background investigation and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in SCADA or Systems Administration or a combination of both.

  • Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019, with the ability to manage and administer these environments effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of hardware and software systems within a SCADA/EMS real-time power operations system.
  • Plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and application software to ensure alignment with project timelines and operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with configuration management processes as required by the customer and industry standards. Ensure these processes are applied effectively to all assigned systems.
  • Assist with managing the lifecycle of systems hardware and peripheral equipment, including ordering, inventory control, installation, deployment, redeployment, maintenance, repair/warranty work, and disposal.
  • Perform standard system administration duties, including account management, computer/server management, printer and resource shares, Group Policy management, and various other system administration responsibilities.
  • Administer Windows 10,11 / Server 2016, 2019, VMware ESXi 7, and Dell Precision Tower environments, ensuring the stability and efficiency of these platforms.
  • Support and maintain hardware components such as Dell-EMC VxRail, Dell-EMC Data Domain, and HPE Proliant Gen 10 Servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system issues, escalating complex problems to senior staff as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve system-related issues.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system logs, patching, security log configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
