  • 5+ years of experience in a joint fires capacity conducting Special Operations mission sets, including JTAC, SOTAC, SOF-CT, and JFO or as a Joint Fires Planner
  • Experience in a joint operational environment
  • Experience with Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), including JP 3-09 Joint Fire Support
  • Knowledge of tactical fire control measures and doctrine
  • Knowledge of the SOF and Conventional Joint Fires Kill-Chain doctrine
  • Knowledge of tactical targeting processes
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
Responsibilities
  • Leverage your experience as a Special Operations and Conventional Joint Fires and targeting expert to contribute to the success of a multi-domain mission set.
  • Coordinate and control tactical fires elements.
  • Perform post-strike combat effectiveness assessments.
  • Provide innovative solutions to complex problem sets.
  • Make recommendations to operational planners based on your tactical experience.
  • Work with other joint fires professionals to develop TTPs and support and sustain a modeling and simulation capability for exercises conducted across the joint force.
