K2 Space manufactures and sells satellite buses, which are the main structures and systems of satellites, excluding the payload. Their satellite buses are designed to be high-capability while remaining cost-effective, allowing clients to deploy large and advanced satellites at a lower price than traditional options. This is achieved by breaking the link between satellite mass and cost, which has historically limited satellite capabilities. K2 Space serves a variety of clients, including commercial businesses, scientific research institutions, and defense organizations, by providing customizable satellite solutions for different missions. The company stands out from competitors by leveraging advanced satellite technology and a team with experience from top aerospace companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin. K2 Space's goal is to enable more ambitious space missions by making advanced satellite capabilities accessible to organizations with budget constraints.
