Requirements
  • Master 2 in insurance law, social protection law, or an equivalent field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in collective and individual personal-insurance litigation.
  • Very good knowledge of supplementary social-protection law and health and provident-insurance contracts.
  • Mastery of case law and litigation procedures, with the ability to assess legal risks and propose appropriate strategies.
  • Proficiency with office software and litigation-management tools.
  • Ability to work in teams and across departments.
  • Strong legal analysis and drafting skills.
  • Autonomy and initiative.
  • Rigor and confidentiality.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of health and provident-insurance litigation cases.
  • Define the appropriate legal strategy for each case.
  • Liaise with lawyers by establishing engagement letters, validating pleadings, briefs, appeals, and any other necessary legal acts.
  • Monitor proceedings before the competent courts.
  • Analyze the financial, legal, and reputational risks associated with cases.
  • Conduct in-depth legal analyses of cases.
  • Monitor legal and case-law developments.
  • Help disseminate best practices, including by raising alerts about dysfunctions identified through litigation cases and recurring risks.
  • Design and deliver internal training activities.
  • Contribute to the development of litigation-management procedures and tools.
  • Work transversally with other departments of the legal, tax, and compliance division.
  • Maintain and update litigation reporting and monitoring tools.
  • Monitor the department's current affairs and activity.

ThIA Santé Mentale raises $5.7M to scale mental health care with 9-day access

ThIA Santé Mentale has raised €5 million in a Series C round led by IRDI Capital Investissement, with participation from Sofilaro Innovation, Generali, AG2R La Mondiale, and individual investors via Tudigo. The company has supported over 30,000 patients and reduced average waiting times for psychiatric care to nine days. Founded in 2022 by Dr Yann Quintilla and Frédérique Mozziconacci, ThIA developed AviPsy, a coordinated care model between psychologists and psychiatrists. The platform has achieved a 38% reduction in anxiolytic consumption and 58% decrease in sick leave amongst patients. The funding will support territorial expansion, insurer partnerships, digital ecosystem development, and deployment of a remote monitoring medical device for preventing depressive relapses. ThIA aims to support over 100,000 patients annually by 2030.
