Position Summary
We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the growing KINESSO Commerce team as a Project Manager. In this role they will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, managing timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time for media & creative. You’ll work closely with account/media team and the creative team.
KINESSO Commerce is a specialty group that focuses on the planning, buying, execution and measurement of Commerce media. Commerce media is any specific media elements that are retailer focused/tagged. This can be in-store signage such as a coupon machine, a billboard driving shoppers to a Walmart store, buying digital ads on Amazon or a Kroger.com site, tapping influencers that support certain retailers or working with shoppable technology companies to ensure ease of conversion. The team supports client’s commerce/shopper/customer marketing teams—our end goal measuring product sales both online and in-store.
Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead and manage commerce projects, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and agency standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans in conjunction with the account/media team, including timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate with internal teams (creative, strategy, legal and account management/media) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Creative Oversight
- Review and approve creative deliverables, ensuring they meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Work closely with internal creative teams, including designers, copywriters, and strategists, to ensure that creative deliverables align with project objectives.
- Provide clear direction and feedback to the creative team, ensuring that revisions are made promptly and align with project goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client internal production team, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage client expectations, providing regular updates on project status, deliverables, and potential risks.
- Gather client feedback on creative work and collaborate with creative teams to implement necessary revisions.
Coordination with Legal
- Liaise with legal to ensure all creative materials comply with legal guidelines and industry regulations.
- Manage the review and approval process for all creative assets, ensuring that legal feedback is incorporated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Facilitate communication between creative and legal teams to resolve any issues that may arise during the approval process.
Collaboration with Retail Media Partners
- Work closely with account/media team and retail media partners to make sure all necessary processes
- Ensure that all creative deliverables meet the specifications and requirements of retail partners.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record of managing creative projects from inception to completion, with a focus on shopper marketing.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to create detailed project plans and manage timelines.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Basecamp) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of retail media strategies, shopper marketing principles, and creative processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in project management within a commerce/customer marketing or retail media environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

The salary range for this position is posted below.
