More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Global Category Manager IT in Bangalore (India) with Signify.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the Enterprise & Product IT category strategy in collaboration with other team members and senior business stakeholders;
• Lead and support IT, R&D, and business stakeholders in RFPs, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and execution for IT Hardware, Software, and Services;
• Identify savings opportunities and manage supplier commercial relationships and ongoing negotiations;
• Deliver on savings targets and other key procurement KPIs;
• Effectively prioritize business needs and manage expectations;
• Drive the strategic relationship with key IT, R&D, and business partners.

More about you

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science or other relevant degree;
• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT Procurement in an international environment;
• Strong negotiation and contracting skills for IT contracts;
• Solid track record of delivering savings and process improvements;
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and experience working in global teams in a diverse environment;
• Strong commercial knowledge, knowledge of procurement processes and tools;
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
