Requirements
  • PhD degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
  • More than 3 years of industrial-oriented experience with electrolyte development for lithium metal batteries
  • Expertise and hands-on experience in lithium metal batteries and cutting-edge technology
  • Testing and evaluating experience of pouch cells is a plus
  • Willingness to execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Ability to work within project teams with dedication and technical excellence
  • Fluency in English with basic speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
  • Effective communication skills in English
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and validate strategies to optimize electrolyte composition for Li-metal battery
  • Analysis and characterization of small molecule organic electrolyte and Li-electrolyte interaction
  • Explore additive structure-performance correlations for lithium metal battery
  • Provide scientific support to project teams
  • Maintain compliance with company protocols related to confidentiality and other policies
