Responsibilities
  • Works closely with Analytics business Managers and other leaders in the team to solve stakeholder issues around access, database support, data management strategies etc.
  • Manage and support Database Operations, High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Security.
  • Implement Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, and database systems health checks procedures.
  • Manage databases and servers maintenance and patching.
  • Maintains performance measurement utilities, which support analysis of real time workload, response time and availability, as well as historical data for trend analysis and capacity management.
  • Works with technical staff to deploy database software new releases and upgrades as well as managing the physical structure of the database subsystem.
  • Participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure database efficiency and maintenance consistent with company guidelines, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with management and personnel from server, storage, and application support teams, as well as other groups within Information System and the medical center.
  • Manage and support database infrastructure, server deployment and configuration.
  • Mentors other Junior Data Management Operations Admin's in the team and guide them on best practices and policies.
