Requirements
  • A track record leading complex client projects, ideally in consulting with several stakeholders involved.
  • A working command of both classical and agile project management methods, with judgment about when each method fits.
  • The ability to stay close to clients, think in solutions, own results, and work through organizations without needing everything defined.
  • The ability to represent commercial interests during tense contract and change-request discussions.
  • Comfort with producing, understanding, and tracking numbers daily, including project profitability, cash flow, and forecasts.
  • The ability to manage risk in a structured way and to prioritize, delegate, and ask for help when the workload is too high.
  • The ability to build the knowledge needed for success independently and recognize what will enable success.
  • Readiness to travel for client meetings and occasional team gatherings.
  • Confidence negotiating and communicating in German at C1 level.
  • Comfort working in English every day.
  • Precise and professional written communication.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
  • Own the client relationship by understanding the client's business, aligning delivery with client needs, and building trust for ongoing partnerships.
  • Run projects end to end by defining scope and objectives, planning work, allocating people, steering delivery across all phases, and identifying and addressing risks early.
  • Lead project teams by ensuring the right skills are assigned across departments and borders and by building team ownership.
  • Steer projects for profitability, cash flow, and forecast quality; investigate deviations from plan and take corrective action with finance and delivery leads.
  • Maintain delivery standards, feed lessons learned into organizational practices, and continuously improve project execution.
  • Use artificial intelligence hands-on in daily delivery to generate status reports, roadmaps, and key performance indicators from project data.
  • Delegate defined analysis steps to artificial intelligence agents within client governance and policy constraints.
  • Document reusable prompts, workflows, and shared context so colleagues can repeat the same processes consistently.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the public sector.
  • Experience responding to public tenders or competitive bids.
  • A project management certification such as Project Management Professional, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, SAFe, Prince2 Practitioner, or an AI-first / AI-in-project-management qualification.
  • Experience contributing to bids, proposals, or statements of work.
  • A background in consulting or professional services.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Fiscal 2025 revenue reached €254.2 million, driven by acquisitions and AI-first delivery.
  • The 2026 Amigo partnership expands healthcare AI into triage, virtual care, and outreach.
  • The 2026-05 EDF cyber resilience win and Microsoft industrial AI recognition validate enterprise demand.

What critics are saying

  • Integration risk compounds after Nearsure, Pwrteams, and iSAX acquisitions across three continents.
  • Heavy public-sector exposure ties growth to procurement cycles and political delays, especially Europe and GCC.
  • If AI-first delivery disappoints, Nortal loses pricing power against Accenture, CGI, and local boutiques.

What makes Nortal unique

  • Nortal owns 25-year government transformation credibility, from Estonia e-government to Lithuania health records.
  • It unifies strategy, engineering, cyber resilience, and AI-first delivery under one brand since May 2026.
  • Its industrial IoT depth strengthened with iSAX on 2026-07-02 and Microsoft partnerships.
