We are hiring an energetic and strategic digital marketer who is passionate about the outdoors to join the team!
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing our online marketing strategies across various digital channels. This role requires a combination of leadership, creativity, analytical skills, and up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends. You will collaborate closely with other departments to align marketing strategies with business objectives but the team will look to you for suggestions and innovative ways to leverage emerging technologies and platforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Digital Marketing Campaigns:
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions across multiple channels including search engines, social media, email, websites and display advertising.
- SEO and SEM Management:
- Optimize website content and structure for search engines (SEO).
- Plan, create, and manage paid campaigns (SEM) on platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads.
- Social Media Strategy:
- Design and execute social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our online and bricks & mortar locations.
- Develop, curate, and manage engaging content for our instagram and facebook channels.
- Email Marketing:
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters (Klaviyo) and promotional offers.
- Promotions & Sales:
- Coordinate promotions and product launches.
- Evaluate best sellers/most searched items for website highlights.
- E-commerce Development & Strategy:
- Optimize websites (Shopify) to maximize conversions.
- Identify opportunities with third-party sellers (e.g., eBay).
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
- Analyze and report on the performance of SEO and SEM campaigns, making data-driven decisions to improve results.
- Conduct A/B tests to improve campaign performance and user experience.
- Implement strategies based on test results to optimize conversion rates.
Qualifications
- 3 years of digital marketing experience (retail/outdoor industry preferred)
- Experience planning and executing end to end multi-channel digital campaigns.
- Experience developing and executing SEO and SEM strategies
- Proficient in tools such as Google Ads and Google Analytics.
- Proficient with Social Media content and customer engagement.
- Experience managing an ecommerce storefront (Shopify preferred).
- Experience with third-party sellers.
- Excellent communication skills and eager to share your ideas and thoughts on best practices.
- A leader who can be organized, work independently and collaboratively with a close knit team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
- Ski, snowboard or biking experience is a plus.
