About You and The Role
The Enterprise Systems team is responsible for the operating system of Zipline – we develop and maintain critical applications that enable the manufacturing, maintenance, and service of our drone delivery system. Our team is currently creating and improving systems to optimize various aspects of our operations across the business, such as within finance, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering tools.
We are seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer to oversee our suite of finance tools, responsible for managing the Netsuite financial ERP and its interactions with other platforms. In this role, you will ensure the health, configuration, and change management processes of these systems. You will drive customizations and integrations into the ERP system, collaborating closely with software engineers and product managers. Additionally, you will work with users to identify and execute enhancements, and resolve issues to optimize user experience.

What You’ll Do
- Maintain and enhance our Netsuite financial ERP system and other Finance systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our growing global organization
- Troubleshoot and improve integrations between Netsuite and subledger systems, collaborating closely with software engineers and stakeholders to ensure data completeness, timeliness, and integrity
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features and customizations to streamline processes and support our growth
- Work with users to understand their needs and challenges, and resolve issues to optimize user experience
- Manage system upgrades and releases to ensure minimal disruption to operations
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience working as a systems engineer on financial SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial workflows, particularly those related to manufacturing, inventory management, financial reporting, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay
- Proven experience building and managing integrations between Netsuite and other systems
- Proficiency in SuiteScript and SuiteAnalytics
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex system and integration issues
- Proven track record of partnering with Accounting, Operations, Engineering, and IT teams to deliver results
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
What Else You Need to Know
The starting cash range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
