Requirements
  • At least 10 years of progressive commercial and sales experience in carbon fiber, composites, or advanced materials.
  • Experience leading sales teams across the Americas.
  • Strong understanding of composite applications and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong understanding of target markets such as aerospace, defense, industrials, or sports and leisure.
  • A track record of delivering profitable growth and market expansion.
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing sales teams.
  • Capability in strategic selling, negotiation, and executive influence.
  • Knowledge of prepregs, thermoplastics, specialty resins, and high-strength fibers.
  • Familiarity with lightweighting, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing trends.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with business goals and market dynamics.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market intelligence, segmentation, and competitive analysis.
  • Translate strategy into clear targets, quotas, and execution plans.
  • Own forecasting, pipeline health, and opportunity management.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Americas sales team.
  • Establish and enforce sales excellence practices, including customer relationship management discipline, key account management, and strategic selling.
  • Partner with Product Management and Finance on profitability, pricing, and margin optimization.
  • Ensure deal governance, contract discipline, and commercial compliance.
  • Deliver revenue, margin, and working capital targets.
  • Lead accurate sales forecasting and demand planning.
  • Collaborate in sales and operations planning processes to balance customer demand, production, and profitability.
  • Monitor and interpret market trends, macroeconomics, and customer behaviors.
  • Provide insights for annual planning and long-term strategy.
  • Act as a key voice in regional and global market intelligence efforts.
  • Maintain compliance with export regulations, credit risk policies, and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure disciplined execution of commercial agreements and customer commitments.

The Mitsubishi Chemical Group (MCG Group) is proud to announce it has attained full ownership of CPC SRL (CPC), a renowned Italian company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of automobile components crafted from carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). This pivotal acquisition that began with minority ownership in 2017 aligns with MCG Group’s long-term strategic vision to further expand and enhance its vertically integrated carbon fiber supply chain.
