Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
  • 6+ years of related information technology experience.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related area.
  • An active Appian Lead Certification.
  • Strong experience with Agile delivery.
  • Strong technical implementation skills.
  • Strong database design and development skills.
  • Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing.
  • Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes.
  • Experience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments.
  • Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and in writing; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multitask by prioritizing and managing work, and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal government security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship is required for clearance purposes.
  • Experience with relational database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
  • Experience with authentication technologies such as SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, and LDAP.
  • Experience with web services, integrations, and middleware such as RESTful services, SOAP, Mule, IIB, and Fusion.
  • Experience with cloud computing and infrastructure as a service platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git, SVN, and CVS.
  • Experience with software troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Responsibilities
  • Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success.
  • Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their unique needs and ecosystems.
  • Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies.
  • Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
  • Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration.
  • Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementations.
  • Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement.
  • Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
  • Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and enablement of resources.
