Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Documentation skills are required.
  • Sound engineering judgment, analytical capabilities, and report writing skills are required.
  • Ability to think on large and small scales is required.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance, documentation, environmental rules, regulations, and best practices is required.
  • Strong computer skills are required.
  • Regular field work in a variety of seasonal conditions is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Travel is required for this position.
Responsibilities
  • Manage aspects of important projects, including proposal development, budget, project execution and scheduling, and client communications.
  • Participate in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks.
  • Collect and analyze data using established procedures, perform routine calculations, and participate in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions.
  • Manage environmental issues proactively and professionally.
  • Create solutions to environmental problems.
  • Build upon existing solutions to make them better.
  • Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation reports.
  • Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical support for environmental remediation projects.
  • Analyze scientific data and perform quality-control checks.
  • Monitor the progress of environmental improvement programs.
  • Address problems and develop environmental solutions to prevent damage.
  • Collaborate with scientists, planners, and experts.
  • Monitor progress and provide recommendations reports.
