Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience providing administrative support through research, statistical reporting, information-request handling, correspondence preparation, visitor reception, conference-call arrangement, and meeting scheduling.
  • DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, satisfactory background screening, a negative drug test, positive references, and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to see, hear, and speak; lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds; sit for extended periods; and use a personal computer and common peripheral devices.
Responsibilities
  • Manage organizational calendars in Microsoft Outlook and similar digital tools.
  • Receive and route incoming telephone calls, email messages, postal mail, and other communications.
  • Assist with managing Government employee timekeeping records in the Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) Tracker Module (ATTM).
  • Prepare and edit correspondence in accordance with Army Regulation 25-50, Preparing and Managing Correspondence.
  • Prepare purchase requests.
  • Submit and track work orders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior employment in a military organization as military or civilian personnel, with an understanding of military headquarters staff organization, roles, and relationships.
  • Executive-level or senior-manager-level administrative support experience.
  • Professional use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, as well as SharePoint.
