Requirements
  • 6+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams, preferably in managing an entire development cycle (conception through launch)
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for fostering collaboration among diverse teams
  • Experience getting and using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success
  • Experience with agile and working closely with designers and engineers to drive feature definition and implementation
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
  • Understanding of mobile app architectures is preferred
  • Understanding and applying of AI preferred
Responsibilities
  • Program Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of complex technical projects centered around a learner's journey, and related to AI-integrated mobile app development. Set clear goals, priorities, and project plans to ensure successful delivery
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, data scientists, marketing, sales, and operations to define project scopes, requirements, and deliverables. Facilitate communication and alignment across teams
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your strong technical background to understand the intricacies of the project architecture. Provide insights, guidance, and direction to ensure the successful implementation adhering to engineering best practices and eliminating unnecessary complexity. Ensure the results meet high standards of quality and performance
  • Risk and Dependency Management: Proactively identify potential risks and issues in project execution, as well as cross-team dependencies. Flush out ambiguity in project scope. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address challenges as they arise
  • Stakeholder and Leadership Communication: Maintain transparent and effective communication with internal stakeholders and leadership (both internal and external to Engineering), ensuring they are updated on project progress, milestones, and any changes in scope
  • Customer and Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use data and information, both qualitative and quantitative, to analyze and deeply understand learner and business needs. Conduct thorough testing and validation processes using data, as well as measuring success
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices
