The Vantage Tax department is responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations while optimizing the company’s tax position through strategic planning and meticulous execution. The team handles all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, and planning for our operations across North America.
Team members are dedicated to preparing and reviewing tax filings, managing tax audits, and developing tax strategies that align with business objectives. They work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information, ensure accurate reporting, and provide valuable tax-related insights that support informed decision-making.

This role can be remote OR based in any of our US locations: Denver, CO; Quincy, WA; Santa Clara, CA; or Ashburn, VA. In alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible).
Vantage seeks a Senior Property Tax Analyst in North America which is a highly visible and cross functional role. This position would have a property tax background. The candidate will also help with monitoring and identifying tax issues in new markets and working cross functionally with different departments such as legal, accounting, FP&A, construction cost finance, and new site development teams. The ideal candidate will be an autonomous self-starter who can get results without constant direction. You should have a professional-growth mindset and be willing to bring forth ideas that can benefit Vantage.
Essential Job Functions
Manage property tax filings & budgeting.
Review property tax bills
Manage property tax audits
Assist with tax journal entries on a monthly or quarterly basis such as property tax JE’s and recons.
Assist with tax audits when needed.
Track property tax abatements with CAPEX and headcount requirements & complete annual filings for them
Work closely with external tax providers to ensure tax payments are made timely
Assist with building out the tax calendar
Additional duties as assigned by Management
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
3-5 years of professional experience, preferably the real estate industry
CPA or EA, Masters of Tax, or LLM or work towards designation, is desirable.
Strong analytical mind, problem solving and modeling skills are required.
Self-starter, ability to operate independently in fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and an ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner.
Executive presence and effective communication skills are required.

Salary Range: $100-120K Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
