Franciscan Health Lafayette hosts Explore Healthcare Career Camp, June 15-18. * Mar 23, 2026 Updated 2 hrs ago LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Franciscan Health Lafayette will be hosting the Explore Healthcare Career Camp (EHCC), June 15-18 for high school students at the Franciscan Health Lafayette Central hospital campus, according to information from the healthcare provider. The camp offers hands-on experience for students in grades 11-12 (ages 16-18). Participants will explore a variety of healthcare careers, connect with healthcare professionals, and learn about education and career pathways. The camp provides students an inside look at what it is really like to work in healthcare and planning for the future. The camp provides attendees with the chance to participate in career education and department observation opportunities. Students will also have the opportunity to network with Franciscan staff and administration and meet peers with similar interests. Camp attendees will be provided with scrubs and/or a T-shirt. New network delivers high-quality orthopedic care at up to 50% lower cost INDIANAPOLIS - Better outcomes at lower costs for Hoosiers is the goal of a new collaboration launched January 1, 2026, by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield with OrthoIndy and Franciscan Health/Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. Dabbs received his Bachelor of Science in nursing from Indiana University in Kokomo, Ind., and his Master of Science in nursing from Purdue University Global.
