This position is located in Holmes County, Millersburg, Ohio.
Ohio State University Extension (OSUE) seeks an Extension Educators Coordinator 3. This position reports to the Area Leader and assists the 4-H Youth Development Educator with the planning and conducting of the 4-H program with an emphasis on livestock in Holmes County.
The position will work with youth and volunteers by assisting with educational programs related to animal sciences. Work directly with livestock committee volunteers to meet deadlines, organize and market pertinent information. Will work with the Educator to conduct animal science in-school programming such as ChickQuest. Manage records and program administration in a database system and assist with promotion through marketing and social media venues. Position also serves as a recognized leader at 4-H volunteer or youth programs an events; actively works to diversify program participation consistent with OSU Extension AA/EEO policy.
Requires some flexibility for evening and weekend hours. Educational opportunities are available to allow staff to pursue additional educational opportunities available at OSU.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this profile is $16.65 - $21.77/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
