Requirements
  • Demonstrated long-term repeated success across a variety of projects, typically over 10 or more years.
  • Expertise in consulting, software engineering, product thinking, architecture, scalability, security, reliability, performance, maintainability, and observability.
  • Experience building and shipping production-grade platforms, reusable foundations, tools, infrastructure, and workflows.
  • Experience taking artificial intelligence and agentic systems from prototype to production, including infrastructure, authentication, and observability.
  • Experience delivering high-stakes consulting engagements across multiple language paradigms, technology stacks, ecosystems, and client industries.
  • Experience building maintainable software collaboratively and incrementally using approaches tailored to client needs.
  • Experience leading production-grade software development using Java, C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Go, Ruby, Scala, R, and SQL.
  • Experience experimenting with artificial intelligence development tools and applying the results to improve delivery speed and quality.
  • Experience evaluating and adopting new software-industry tools and trends.
  • Experience building or integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning features, including recommendation engines, natural language processing, computer vision, predictive analytics, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and agents.
  • Experience leading modernization and replatforming efforts for legacy systems.
  • Experience solving architecture-level problems involving scalability, security, reliability, performance, maintainability, and observability.

Responsibilities

  • Drive platform engineering work at the client level by connecting long-term technical vision to delivered work.
  • Lead platform strategy and delivery across diverse platform types.
  • Advise clients on architecture, scalability, and platform evolution in relation to product and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate on systems spanning the full machine learning lifecycle, from data ingestion and preprocessing through model deployment, integration, and performance monitoring.
  • Drive innovation by surfacing technical approaches and product solutions.
  • Lead or initiate formal feedback conversations through retrospectives.
  • Articulate and document outcomes and drive action items forward.
  • Contribute to team and company culture by modeling organizational values.
  • Design and manage high-level technical roadmaps for large engagements.
  • Build professional networks and maintain relationships with clients and industry leaders.
  • Coach client engineering teams, transfer knowledge, and improve engineering practices.
  • Influence client chief technology officers and executive decisions.
  • Plan and execute technical work involving stakeholders outside project boundaries.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience building reusable software foundations, internal developer platforms, and infrastructure through platform engineering.
  • Data engineering experience, including Databricks for data processing and analytics.
  • Experience delivering production agentic systems using retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, vector search, and agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, and n8n.
  • DevSecOps and DevOps experience.
  • Machine learning operations experience.
  • Infrastructure as Code experience.
