Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience monitoring clinical studies.
  • Significant experience with interventional studies, ideally drug studies.
  • Good knowledge of private clinical research environments and pharmaceutical company expectations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and independent-working abilities.
  • Rigor, teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits and write the associated reports.
  • Provide operational follow-up for investigator sites and contribute to the smooth conduct of studies.
  • Check the quality, consistency, and completeness of clinical data and follow up on queries.
  • Ensure compliance with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice, and applicable procedures.
  • Monitor the study’s regulatory and essential documentation and ensure its compliance.
  • Maintain regular communication with investigators and research teams.
  • Support and advise sites on study conduct and resolution of operational issues.
  • Identify potential deviations or risks and implement appropriate follow-up actions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in oncology and/or hematology.
  • Experience with complex studies and/or studies involving high patient volumes.

Eurazeo invests in European clinical research provider Excelya

Morgan Lewis has advised Eurazeo on its investment in Excelya, a European clinical research services provider. The deal sees Eurazeo join as a long-term investor alongside Excelya's management team. Eurazeo, a leading European investment group, manages €37.4 billion in diversified assets and supports over 600 mid-market companies. Excelya specialises in developing patient treatments and advancing scientific knowledge in clinical research. The Morgan Lewis team included partners Sophie Perus and Sebastien Pontillo, of counsel Thomas Lefebvre, and associates Baptiste Godmer, Charles Deffontaines and Camille Jannin. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
