Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in systems training, systems administration, systems analysis or electronic data interchange (EDI).
  • Requires user proficiency with PC, standard software and specialized applications.
  • Experience in technical system support operations.
  • Experience in analysis/design/implementation, testing/troubleshooting, training and documentation in a technical system environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills related to EDI.
Responsibilities
  • System maintenance (updates/purge/reorganize)
  • Coordinate all aspects of EDI internally and externally
  • Daily monitoring to ensure accurate and timely inbound/outbound EDI transactions
  • Log/documentation of user support issues with resolution.
  • Maintain EDI user software security (Future 3 system).
  • Maintain and implement current and new EDI communications with EDI trading partners.
  • Plan/coordinate EDI implementation setups/projects throughout the TRAM companies.
  • Coordinate and maintain EDI schedules with user and business relationships with trading partners as it pertains to the setup, testing and implementation of required EDI transaction sets.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical interests.
  • Participate in EDI product and vendor selection process as necessary.
  • Install/maintain any new EDI features that have been approved and purchased – with the task and responsibility for testing new features.
  • Keep current on new and improved EDI processes.
  • Develop EDI implementation guidelines and procedures per site.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements within EDI structure.
  • Assist internal/external customers with EDI questions related to areas of EDI support.
  • Have knowledge of EDI standards, ANSI X12, EDIFACT.
  • Train end-users with objective to develop a detailed understanding of system processes.
  • Implement and/or migrate all non-EDI/EDI trading partners into production.
  • Primary support in the following Future Three programs; (AutoRelease, AutoMap, AutoScan, VendorRelease and Eclipz).
