- Drive development of responsive web front ends and robust backend application programming interfaces across the full stack.
- Apply Test-Driven Development and other modern engineering practices to ensure application code is correct, stable, and maintainable before production release.
- Build and maintain automated unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end test suites to support rapid and safe delivery.
- Collaborate with platform engineers to adopt platform capabilities and support smooth deployments through continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Leverage observability tooling and cloud-native patterns to maintain reliable services in production.
- Design and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Set quality goals and development practices with the team, driving continuous improvement through rigorous standards and methodologies.
- Coordinate code reviews, provide constructive feedback to peers, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Analyze and optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks to improve user experience and system efficiency.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and security engineers to define, design, code, and ship new features.
