Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field is required.
  • Around 15 or more years of overall experience is required.
  • Expert-level knowledge of modern backend languages such as C# and Python, along with REST, GraphQL, and gRPC patterns, is required.
  • Expert-level knowledge of modern web frameworks such as React is required.
  • Practice with Test-Driven Development, automated testing, and clean coding is required.
  • At least five years of experience with AWS services including EKS, IAM, RDS, ElastiCache, and EC2 is required.
  • At least three years of experience with Kubernetes and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem, including Argo CD, Helm, Crossplane, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, fluent-bit, and Kyverno, is required.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, OpenTofu, or Crossplane is required.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions is required.
  • Experience working in multinational and cross-functional organizations is required.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the architectural design and implementation of cloud-native application services running on a Kubernetes-based platform.
  • Act as a technical guide for a cross-functional Scrum team, conduct deep-dive code reviews, and foster engineering excellence.
  • Drive development of responsive web front ends and robust backend application programming interfaces across the full stack.
  • Apply Test-Driven Development and other modern engineering practices to ensure application code is correct, stable, and maintainable before production release.
  • Build and maintain automated unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end test suites to support rapid and safe delivery.
  • Collaborate with platform engineers to adopt platform capabilities and support smooth deployments through continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Leverage observability tooling and cloud-native patterns to maintain reliable services in production.
  • Design and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Set quality goals and development practices with the team, driving continuous improvement through rigorous standards and methodologies.
  • Coordinate code reviews, provide constructive feedback to peers, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Analyze and optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks to improve user experience and system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and security engineers to define, design, code, and ship new features.
