Requirements
  • 3+ years in lifecycle marketing, with emphasis on email
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience with direct to consumer eCommerce brands, subscription experience a plus
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and drive and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A growth and entrepreneurial mindset: you have a never-ending curiosity that drives you to learn and innovate, driving both innovative strategy and execution
  • Incredible organization and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven ability to translate performance metrics into actionable insights / test and learns and experience with tools such as GA or Looker
  • Ability to build rapport and impact cross-functionally (i.e. product, creative, analytics)
  • A pulse on cultural, competitive, consumer, and retention / lifecycle trends across the full path to purchase
  • Proven success in loading email campaigns and setting up triggered workflows
  • Experience in ESP/CRM Systems (Iterable), triggered workflows, HTML, project management systems (Asana)
  • Experience with other retention channels (referral, loyalty, SMS, direct mail) a plus
Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of lifecycle email marketing, including developing triggered email automations
  • Manage, report on and optimize our email channel, along with another Sr. Associate and the Retention team
  • Be an authority on personalization and customization, utilizing data to increase revenue, improve the customer/Member journey, and build our brand
  • Keep detailed documentation on channel methodology, best practices, test results, data properties, triggered automations, etc
  • Develop AB testing methodology, including tracking results to implement learnings for future campaigns
  • Work with the Membership team to activate new members, retain current members, winback lapsed members, analyze churn, drive repeat purchase, etc
  • Partner with Brand and Creative to develop consistent design, messaging and content across campaigns
  • Prioritize a cohesive consumer journey, working closely with product with product and site merchandising
