The Director, US Payer Development will be responsible for spearheading the establishment and advancement of a Payer-focused channel within the U.S. market and exploring diverse commercial models.This position will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Responsible for exploring, building and driving new Payer solutions within the U.S. market.
Explore various commercial models and viability with key payer types (commercial payers, self-funded payers etc) within the U.S. market (non-government). Works in partnership with Market Access to deliver.
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the US healthcare payer landscape. Analyze competitor offerings and industry dynamics to inform a strategy and execution plan.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key payers, and managed care organizations in the U.S. Establish partnerships and collaborations that enhance the company’s presence and influence within the payer space.
Work with the relevant teams required to build solutions that streamline and improve treatment for sleep and respiratory care patients.
Lead contract negotiations with payers (as required). Work with Legal, Finance, Market Access teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Develop and lead pilots to develop and prove out payer offers and programs.
Bring together cross-functional groups of capabilities at the right time to execute various stages of the Payer Development strategy
Work in close partnership with the Sales organization to drive value for customers.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:
Total Base Pay Range
182,000- 274,000USD Annual
Subject to the absolute discretion of the company, this role is eligible for an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.
