Requirements
  • Experience with the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) systems and/or the NGJ Tactical Jamming System (TJS)
  • Minimum 5 years related experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Deploy either shipboard or in an expeditionary capacity with supported NGJ systems onboard USN ships and into foreign countries
  • Manage incoming inspection, troubleshoot, repair, calibration, and return of Next Generation Jamming (NGJ) systems returned from CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Execute NGJ Fleet Support Representative’s (FSR) efforts at NAS Whidbey Island, WA
  • Train U.S. Navy Sailors and new FSR’s before OCONUS deployment
  • Support engineering, logistics and operations teams
  • Work with the engineering product development team prior to system deployment
  • Identify field support equipment needs for field troubleshooting
  • Assist USN maintainers with all NGJ support requirements
  • This position will perform other duties as assigned in support of the mission
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with USN organizational level squadron operations
  • Familiarity with USN technical reports
  • Past or current experience with Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and/or FSR operations
  • Extensive knowledge of AEA, NGJ, RF, and Radar systems
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (Common PDM)
  • Experience in effectively communicating with end user of the system
