Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence integration is required.
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate certification is preferred.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals certification is preferred.
  • Microsoft Copilot certification is preferred.
  • GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols and adapt to changing priorities and work demands is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment is required.
  • Skill in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders are required.
Responsibilities
  • Leverage artificial intelligence tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Security Copilot, to streamline security operations, automate documentation, and support incident response activities.
  • Develop and maintain artificial intelligence prompts and workflows for threat hunting, incident triage, and compliance reporting.
  • Integrate artificial intelligence tools into daily security operations to enhance analyst productivity and reduce response times.
  • Design, implement, and manage artificial intelligence-based agents and automations for real-time alert enrichment, log analysis, and contextual threat intelligence.
  • Collaborate with Security Operations Center analysts, engineers, and governance, risk, and compliance teams to identify automation opportunities and embed artificial intelligence into existing security infrastructure.
  • Analyze and correlate data from multiple sources using artificial intelligence-assisted tools to detect threats and anomalies.
  • Create dashboards and reporting tools, including Splunk and Sentinel, that reflect artificial intelligence-enhanced threat intelligence insights.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of artificial intelligence-enhanced security processes and refine prompt strategies and automation logic.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for artificial intelligence-integrated workflows.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide advanced analysis support during critical incidents.
  • Stay current with emerging artificial intelligence technologies and cybersecurity trends.
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
