POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our rapidly growing Software Engineering team. In this multifaceted role, you will oversee complex work streams across multiple R&D and Business teams. This position offers a unique blend of strategic oversight and direct involvement in product development, providing an exciting opportunity to impact our global customer base.

We’re looking for someone who can ensure our delivery approach is not only scalable and efficient but also lean, innovative, and experimental. You’ll be at the forefront of driving alignment and problem-solving, streamlining processes, and implementing state-of-the-art solutions. Your active engagement with stakeholders will be vital in fostering continuous improvement and adaptability in our services. This position is part of a centralized TPM team focused on cross-team alignment, scalability, and impact. We’re looking for someone who is excited to re-imagine processes and practices and support scaling program management across our R&D organization. Successful candidates will have an engineering background, be detail-driven, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale programs.

Based out of Denver, Colorado, this individual will report to the Director, Technical Program Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage software programs from initiation to closure, ensuring quality, scope, and timeline objectives are met.
• Manage program resourcing, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Serve as a bridge between different teams, fostering strong relationships and facilitating a shared understanding of project objectives, timelines, and priorities.
• Coordinate program teams across Product, Design, Engineering, Go-To-Market, and Business/Operational Partners to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
• Champion the translation of strategic objectives into tactical plans, ensuring alignment not only within individual teams but also across the entire organization.
• Act as a catalyst for cross-functional collaboration, fostering an environment where teams work cohesively towards common program goals.
• Regularly conduct alignment sessions, encouraging open communication and resolving any inter-team dependencies or conflicts promptly.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance collaboration processes, working towards a unified approach that maximizes efficiency and accelerates project delivery.
• Implement communication structures that promote transparency and mutual understanding, ensuring that each team’s contributions align with the overall project vision.
• Continuously assess and improve cross-team alignment strategies, demonstrating a commitment to creating a harmonious work environment that enhances the overall success of software projects.
• Implement and adapt Agile methodologies for multiple program teams, leveraging engineering metrics to improve performance.
• Communicate technical or product-related information to stakeholders, including senior executives and customers.
• Stay up-to-date with technology trends and product/engineering best practices for informed project planning and execution.
• Evangelize data-driven decision-making, meaningfully leveraging Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Program metrics to drive improvements and identify bottlenecks.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• 3+ years experience in technology program or project management.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A combination of technical and business education is ideal.
• Working experience as a Software Engineer is required.
• Working knowledge of Microservices, AI, API, CI/CD preferred.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• A PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
• Jira Administrator certification preferred.
