Requirements
  • Minimum one year of administrative work experience.
  • Experience using computer software and programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students.
Responsibilities
  • Identify program needs, contribute to the development of unit workflows, schedule logistics, and secure resources for meetings, events, and interviews.
  • Use independent judgment in the development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation of one or more academic programs, initiatives, or events.
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of one or more academic programs and resolve issues using discretion to meet unit goals.
  • Coordinate program components, evaluate program effectiveness, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Build and maintain course schedules in the Student Information System.
  • Provide course enrollment support.
  • Coordinate course evaluations.
  • Maintain departmental data.
  • Process undergraduate scholarships.
  • Manage department space and supply inventories.

  • Experience working in a higher education environment.
  • Experience using campus course scheduling software, including the Student Information System and 25Live.
