- Analyze all internal and external quality issues for their facility to help identify and improve shortfalls
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures
- Investigate plant quality issues and make decisions on how to correct the issues for field warranty and implement countermeasures
- Manage quality tracking at the plant level and review with plant manager and engineers
- Verify products are being built to standards set by R&D and as detailed in Dozuki
- Overseeing Quality engineers, Product Quality inspectors, and Quality Techs
- Manage all Quality Engineers and Quality Techs within the facility
- Assist Quality Engineers and Quality Techs with any issues that cannot be resolved through standard means
- Schedule and arrange quality training for new employees and annual retraining for existing employees
- Schedule, perform, and analyze quality audits and product reviews
- Manage Engineering Change Notice (ECN) rollout to plant lines and ensure they are properly implemented
- Implement Process Change Instructions (PCIs) and enforce Key Quality Points (KQPs) within the plant
- Give feedback to Industrial Engineers on Dozuki for continuous improvement
- Reports to Director of Quality
