Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Process purchase requisitions efficiently and obtain competitive quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors while maintaining transparent and professional relationships
  • Prepare, review, and issue purchase orders in compliance with organizational policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with stores, receiving, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate delivery, proper documentation, and timely receipt of materials
  • Maintain and regularly update the supplier database, tracking vendor information and performance metrics
  • Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery timelines, and service standards; provide constructive feedback and recommendations
  • Analyze market trends and industry pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative procurement solutions
  • Monitor compliance with internal audit standards, brand procurement guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Resolve procurement-related issues and discrepancies with resilience and decisiveness
  • Prepare reports and analytics on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and cost savings achieved
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (APICS, CIPRO, or equivalent)
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms
  • Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and compliance auditing processes
