  • Ability to perform quantitative analyses
  • Ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team consisting of systems engineers, electrical and electronics engineers, acquisition professionals, and logistics and sustainment professionals to achieve program outcomes
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field
  • 15+ years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems
  • Experience in mechanical, structural, electrical, or electronic design for shipbuilding and defense systems
  • Knowledge of Navy acquisition processes
  • Knowledge of mechanical design standards and practices for Naval ships and systems
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
  • Master’s degree in an Engineering field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Certification
Responsibilities
  • Provide integrated and comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment of requirements, concepts, and resources for human factors engineering, manpower, personnel, training, safety and occupational health, force protection and survivability, and habitability.
  • Ensure human performance is optimized to increase total system performance and minimize total system ownership costs.
  • Maximize overall human-machine performance through understanding of the human element, offering a total system approach to help clients meet the demands of the evolving workplace.
